KYOSHI MARC DUCHESNEAU

Master Marc Duchesneau is the head instructor and owner of Duchesneau Jiu-Jitsu. He's a 6th degree Black Belt in the art of Jiu-Jitsu and a black belt in Karate. He made his debut in Jiu-Jitsu in 1979. He still continues to participate actively in the art. He was vice-president of seminars and tournaments during four years with the Canadian International Jiu-Jitsu Federation. Today he's a proud member of the Canadian Jiu-Jitsu Union, World Elite Black Belt Society and American Judo and Jiu-Jitsu Federation. He was a promoter of special events "Tournaments, Seminars and Martial Arts Shows". He's qualified up to level two as a referee in martial arts and took part in more than forty tournaments as judge and referee. He attended more than ten WORLD MARTIAL CONVENTIONS as a participant and instructor in (Canada, England, France, Switzerland and USA). He is also qualified instructor in PPTC (pressure point tactic control), High Stress Sparring, Scepter Baton, New Police Pressure Point Tactic Control, Can-Ryu 2000, Kubotan Carry Key and Pepper Spray. Master Duchesneau also took courses such as Asp Police Baton, Max 27 Baton, Grappling, Karate and Kuatsu. He is still learning at special black belt classes and intends on improving his skills in Martial Arts.

Renshi ANDRE LEMAY

Renshi Lemay began studying  Martial Arts in 1971, when he received his yellow belt in judo in Montreal. Already actively involved in a number of competitive sports, such as American football (he was the captain of the college team), hockey, volleyball, track and field, tennis and swimming, he has always maintained interest in Martial arts.

After moving to the Ottawa-Gatineau region, he devoted himself to academic goals and received hi M.A. in linguistics, but he had tone down his training for a few years. He resumed his intensive training in 1986 and, three and a half years later, he was awarded a Black Belt in Jiu-Jitsu. He also began actively involved in Tai Chi, an Art he practiced and taught for several years. He also began studying Akido.

Senei Lemay currently holds the rank of YODAN in the Can-Ryu Jiu-Jitsu. He continues his active training in Judo and Karate.

Renshi Lemay has been affiliated with Duchesneau Jiu-Jitsu Dojo since 1986.

SENSEI LUC COUSINEAU

Sensei Cousineau is a senior instructor at the club. He made his debut in in Jiu-Jitsu in May 1982. He has participated in many competitions, both as a competitor and as a judge. He is also a veteran of countless demonstrations and symposiums. He is probably best known for being Mater Duschesneau's yuki for his black belt exam, and continues today to serve as yuki when the Master teaches a class.

He is also a qualified instructor in High Stress Sparring Drill, Pressure Point Control Tactics, Scepter Baton, Max 27 Baton, Persuader Key Holder and Pepper Spray. He is always working at improving his skills. Sensei Cousineau is working on obtaining his brown belt in karate. He holds the rank of YODAN in Can-Ryu Jiu-Jitsu. Today he's a proud member of the Canadian Jiu-Jitsu Union and World elite Black Belt Society.

Renshi MICHEL FORGET

Renshi Forget is a long standing member of our club. He is one of the many instructors. He made his debut in Jiu-Jitsu in 1989 and still continues to practice actively in the art. He also participates in more than 15 tournaments as a participant and a judge and has  attended more than four WORLD MARTIAL ART CONVENTIONS in Canada, England, and Switzerland. He is also a qualified instructor in High Stress Sparring, Scepter Baton, Kubotan Carry Key, and Pepper Spray. Renshi Forget also took classes for PPTC (pressure point tactic control), Max 27 Baton, ASP Baton, Kuatsu, Karate and Grappling. He is always working on improving his skills in the Martial Arts. He is now a YODAN in the art of Jiu-Jitsu. Today he's a proud member of the Canadian Jiu- Jitsu Union and World Elite Black Belt Society.
